"Yeah, neat stuff, like tracking down the laundry mat and exploring teh weird old building we moved into. You know, basics..." Yes, Rachel seemed to be just as good, read poor, at improvisation when it came to people their own age.
Teh woman pouted slightly "I can show you guys..."
Rach shook her head "Hey, and ruin teh adventure?"

"We're okay. And it is kinda late..." He smiled at her but hoped she'd take the hint.

"I don't mind" the neighbor assured with a bright grin that made Rachel grit her teeth.
That decided her, she was going to be very very rude. "Well, isn't that nice? But, I'm afraid, We do mind. We feel a bit smothered and frankly you're not helping with the clingy routine." she said very very sweetly, a hint to anyone who knew her just how close to pissed off she was.
The neighbor's face hardened somewhat before ehr smile returned "Well, I'm sure Jason doens't mind does he?" she asked playfully. "You can go rest or what ever and I"ll show him around"

Jason recognized Racheal's tone and what it meant immediatly and suddenly found himself in a very bad place being between these two. He kept a smile on and gave Racheal's arm a gentle squeeze trying to calm her as he also tried to get rid of Becca without offending her. It was, after all, a somewhat good idea to stay on good terms with neighbors.
"Yeah uh, thanks and all Becca, but we kinda already have plans and stuff. Maybe some...other time though." He winced inwardly, thinking perhaps he shouldn't have added that last part.

[Blast from the past!! Fear! Fear! Mainly, I realized this was hanging...and hanging is bad. Um. Yeah.]
Rachel eyed Becca, the sweet smile staying firmly on her face. She didn't do anything like tug Jason away from her, or no, she just...waited. Can I bite her? she hummed at her partner.
What? Their 'neighbor' was interfering with their real 'job'. And she didn't like random girls that shoved their way into apartments!! Other time?!
.....
...I guess we still do the Thursday free night. Right? If you want.
Ouch. "Yeah, tonight's a no go neighbor, thanks though!"
