"I believe Shae is no more evil than she is human," Mycroft said, "But white fire doesnt care about evil and good. it seeks out darkness. Drago wont use it on me because he owes me. the rest of you are far less threatening, 'specially the sprites, than those two."
Leelonan, walked to Shae. "I shall stand guard for you at the mount."

Gongrol nodded "Well, good, ye have a head on yer shoulders then."
Shae eyed Leelonan from within her hood. "The party is already losing two warriors as Mycroft bespeaks his friend. I woudl not have it lose more, althought the offer is greatly appreciated."

"Light elves are immune to white fire. I can protect you. you are hurt and not likely to be healed by the time we reach the mountain. I merely wish to keep you safe."
Saeful cleared his throat loudly, "An' what of me?"
Leelonan narrowed her eyes at him. "You are a demon, but part of our company now. I shall protect you as I would protect any other"
Saefull laughed and muttered where Leelonan couldnt hear, "Yeah, and thats why your swearing to protect her."

Shae smiled slightly, a mere twitch of lips. "We will no doubt regret dividing our forces so" was all she said.

"Three of our strongest warriors watching our rear," Thundora said, "And then the rest of us advancing the hill. not dividing, simply being strategic. besides, I shall send Cyclonia down once we have made the proper introductions and forwarnings."
Mycroft nodded. "Perfect idea. once i speak with Drago, the Dragons shall not attack any. and Drago is old and wise, he will most certainly abstain from attacking you if, I, his old friend, ask him to. but for the beginning, you will remain at the bottom.

Shae looked at SAful, wondering if he too found the rest of the party to be optimistacally niave and happily, blissfully ignorant...
She, herself could never be so...hopeful. "We are overlooking the hordes of foreign demons that are seeking to stop us at any cost. They have been cheated of what they beleive to be their rightful prey by these staves before...and do not easily forget..."
She had to try and mak them see, eve if it was a futile effort...

"The most a horde can reach, when looking for a group as small as us that is, is a hundred, that is on a good day. now we have two battle traind elves, a thunder sprite, a rock sprite, a wind sprite, a demon, two human warriors, a wolf, a small herd of horses, and two very strong Dwarven warriors. taht is a horde that i think even demons will be wary to attack." this was softly said by Cyclonia. she looked to Shae, "We wont be unchallenged. that is why we are only planned to the mount of dragons. there will still be much danger and fear ahead if that is what you indeed need. ((whoa, whats wrong with moving on a bit?))

((Shae wasn't taken aback by the plans, but by the cheerful assumptions she heard. She's just like that. As for moving on, didn't say anything against it )) Shae silently chewed what was handed her. It was cooked far more than she cared for...but that was the leaast of her current worries. "Ach, donnae mind the toasty. Ye know them, always plannin an plottin, want te see all teh angles. Drives 'em off the edge." Svernin said while eating his own porion.

Arkin had listened to the conversation idly, watching the wolf eat and putting down some meat himself. Barcon lifted his head and sniffed the air, looking to Arkin and growling softly.
Standing Arkin interupted the group, "While I understand all of you feel the need for this debate can I remind you that the demons you are worrying about ahead are a present problem as well. Their finding us along the way would be hindered more if we actually got on our way. Staying here isn't exactly a wise move...I think we should get going. Talk on the way if you must, but don't stay here."

Shae chuckled and stood laborously, swaying a moment but steadying herself. She slipped the stave upon her back and hissed a moment. "You are right furkin, I apologize for my distraction"
Shaper, in her hood, never awoke, sleeping the sleep of eth well deserved.
Gongrol stood up and put out the fire.
Svernin grumped and fetched the lizards. He eyed Shae up and down "De ye want te be tied te me lizard toasty?"

Leelonan walked to Shae, "You need more rest to finish healing, Kaykoe will bear you for a while." Leelonan gestured and the Griffon knelt near Shae, obviously uncomfortable with bearing a second rider."

Shae eyed the griphon and shook her head slightly "No. I shall walk...I woudl not have such a noble beast weighed down so much that he must bear the earth."

Leelonan shook her head, "No, I shall walk. you the injured shall ride. Kaykoe simply doesnt not like having a different rider than me."

Shae, again, shook her head. "No. I'll not be cause of the breaking of him. Gryphon's choose their riders."
She bowed stiffly to teh creature, then smiled at Leelonan "Besides, I prefer to keep in touch with teh ground. To lose touch with it tires me."
