"Pleased to meet you Shaper, I am Shae" she said, equally quietly. The young fey drifted down to sit on her shoulder and watch the scene unfold.
Svernin, obviously, wanted to be howling obscenities right now...but his mouth was glued shut. He settled for striding purposefully after her...until he was yanked back to the stonewall and glued there. Needless to say he was not happy.
Gongrol waited patiently...
And Shae sighed. "Calm, sister. Let the man speak so we may begin."

Leelonan, turned and acknowledged her fellow elf with a nodded. then turned to face Mycroft.
"Well we cant start much yet, we are still missing our last member. a sprite."
"Oh, dear." Thundora huffed. "It appears my brother is late. a habit, with all due respect, I'm sure he picked up from the Dwarves eh grew up with."

"Quick to judge as ever, dear sister" Shaper said quietly, but this time the words drifted through the room.
Gongrol eyed Thundora "We be not in the habit of teachin tardiness lady sprite." he said calmly.

"My apologies if i do offend Lord Dwarf," she said diplomatically. "it is just that my parents would never be late for a thing, and I am never late so i assumed it was ... oh nevermind." (OOC: by they way is Shaper the other sprite? and if so what is his element?)

((Yep, Shaper's the sprite, and he can mold stone, the reason he was sent to live with the dwarves))
Gongrol simply sighed.
She looked at Shaper "I can see she thinks highly of you" she said quietly.
He smiled "Yes, we're in the same boat you and I"

Thundora took stock once again of her surrondings and finally noticed her brother. "My word... Shaper... There you are, how long have you been here?"

"Long enough" he said with a sigh. "Quite an entrance you and your faithful follower made...but I do beleive the gryphon topped it as far as entrances I observed"
Gongrol cleared his throat "Well, ye have the two dwarves, the fosterlin, the puir bluid, the wolf lad, the knight, the gold elf and the Shadow once known as another...can we start?"

Mycroft cleared his throat and said. "Too right Gongrol. we should start. now we are in search of the eight rods of power. there are two for each people. they are hidden away in pairs, but not by people. they are jumbled and hidden. the Mount of Dragon's holds a pair, as does the Trench of the Leviathan, the Tomb of Asgrathil, and the Desert of Despair. we will need all eight and then to, as the profesy says, baptise them in the blood of a gentle Hurricane. i'm not sure what that last part means, but once that happens the eight of us together, minus Ms. Cyclonia, will be able to drive out the Godia"

Shae cleared her throat "Do not discount Cyclonia so readily my lord Mycroft...your information may be a bit...lacking."

"Eight shall be the number that survive the trials of the rods, eight chosen to be bearers, eight champions of their kinds. Two of each guardian race. Sealed by blood, and linked through death to that which they seek, chosen, in the end, by the power they will weild." she quoted the dark elven verse.
"The staves choose the weilder my lord."

"Not the words I have," Mycroft said, looking at his parchment with the prophesy. "But they sound roughly the same. now, I suggest we head first to the mount of Dragons. I have a... er.. Friend there."
Thundora raised a brow at his hesitant comment.
Cyclonia shifted uncomfortable after being spoken for by the dark Elf.
Leelonan gazed about, her eyes stopping briefly on the Lightening Sprite, then continuing. "we should be on our way. Will your friend be of use?"
"I dont know, just dont kill any dragons untill i give the word when we get there." Mycroft laughed throughout his little blurb. "Well since the Sprites and one elf are already set for their rides as is my fellow human, allow me to offer you the use of my stable. Seventeen horses, all mighty steeds, two Pegasus, and a Japanese fire fox (OOC: if you have ever seen Inu Yasha think Kilala, if not thing a cross between a fox and a big cat with flaming feet and three flaming tails, white in color). they are all tended by a team of three Centaurs I rescued from the local village. the centaurs rome free on my land, and the answer is No, you may not ride them."

Shae shrugged slightly. The human would find out sooner or later...she would be more comfortable bringing a wider selection for the staves, but that was her. "I walk, and yes..." she said, holding up a slim hand to forestall argument "...I can keep up"
Shaper patted her shoulder "And I with you lady. It would be far safer then braving my sisters delicate barbs."
Gongrol stood and stretched, his brother dropping to the floor finally. "Well..we're no' much fer horses...except fer the eatin...so we best try soumat else outta yer menagerie..."
Svernin stood up, glared around, and crossed his arms over his chest. His lips were still sealed shut.

"Well.." Mycroft said shrugging, "I think i have Dolon Lizards, which would be big enough for a dwarf to ride. also a fericious beast, but loyal enough if you can get their respect. I have mine."
Thundora sighed at her brother's comment. She had never quite gotten over her jealousy of his travels. she had lived her life in the cloud palace of her parents, and never left. she knew it was her jealousy that made her act so hostile towards him, but by the powers, why did he have to act so close to a DARK ELF?!

Gongol smiled, beard bunching oddly "Ai, lizards will due! We have them creepers in the caves, wonderful calvary fer the ceilin bits...and me brother here was a champion of 'em afore he came te the temple."
Shea eyed Thundara...trouble was brewing alright. Shaper may have a bit to answer for...perhaps she would suggest talking before it came to any violence...oddly enough, Shaper didn't bother her in the least...so she didn't mind his polite familiarities.
