This is a continuance of the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" five book trilogy.
Arthur was dead. Ford knew that. didn't mean he couldn't wish it weren't so. now Ford was stuck with his brat. and that was brat with a capital D-E-N-M-A-R-K. the girl never quit whining. her father was dead, her mother was horribly neglectful. sometimes he wished that he hadn't promised Arthur he would take care of Random.
as it was he was coming up on their target. he'd had to search the galaxy from one end to the other. finally they'd found them. the being they had been searching for was a depressed Zaphod Beeblebrox. the thing they had been searching for was the most improbable ship in the universe... the Heart of Gold.
