Brief summary of the main characters involved in the "Highest Form of Art" Plot line:
Tara:
A true artist. Dedicated, passionate and insane. Her art work is not only in high demand; it comes at a high price, a slew of people’s lives. Tara has an obsession with red and all its varied shades, and she has found there is only one medium that provides the best red. Blood. Tara is a serial killer who murders for her art.
She is a trained assassin and ex-mental patient. She is now roaming free with her lover Elric Hammer, creating her masterpieces while being pursued by her mentor Nina and Agent Miller. (OPEN)
Nina:
Nina is a rogue weapon; she was once a part of the Government assassin program but was ‘decommissioned’ at some point and ended up in an institute. ‘Bailed’ out by Agent Miller she is now helping him to hunt down Tara, the macabre artist she helped to create.
She feels several things regarding this case, one is guilt, and another is sorrow. Her operator, Link was lost some time ago, murdered by Tara, and although Miller is a sort of substitute Link’s absence along with Tara’s trail of murders leaves her emotionally hurting. She hardly, if ever, shows any of this, owning a set of skills that includes a mask and demeanor that reveals nothing of her inner turmoil. (Veldrin Dalharil)
Agent Miller:
A serious, focused and often times impatient man Miller is an agent working for the government on many of their top priority cases. Or at least he was but after recent events he may not hold a position with them for much longer.
Determined to stop Tara’s killings and get at Elric, Miller has released Nina, stolen evidence and gone rogue. Not one to sit back and wait he has decided to solve the case his way and as a result is being pursued himself. “Disregarding of Authority” often appears on his evaluations along with many other assorted complaints by his superiors. (Adam_bat)
Elric Hammer:
A twisted man himself Elric takes great pride in Tara’s work and delights in helping her retrieve her ‘supplies.’ In addition to being sick he is also manipulative and crafty. He was able to get Tara out and win her affections and so the pair share a rather, disturbing relationship. (Veldrin Dalharil)
